Nestled in the heart of Nolensville Pike is Plaza Mariachi, a multicultural entertainment center celebrating five years in business this week.

Brief history

Plaza opened its doors to the public on May 12, 2017. Prior to opening, Mark and Diane Janbakhsh transformed an abandoned Kroger shopping center into a destination for culture, art, music, entertainment, food, and retail — all under one roof.

Since then, Plaza Mariachi has grown to add daily entertainment, new children’s programming, a weekly outdoor flea market, and more places to dine + shop. Check out these fast facts about the center:

Where to eat, drink + shop

Enjoy birria tacos, burritos, and huaraches from Taquería Hidalgo, steaks from Tres Gauchos, coffee and arepas from Trinity Coffee, and bubble tea from WIN. See the full directory.
The indoor marketplace features five calles, or streets, lined with retail shops, including fresh market Mazfresco.
Plaza debuted a new bar this spring, AGAV, with beer, wine, and cocktails. Pro tip: The seasonal margarita is blood orange.
Keep the kids entertained at Tito's Playland + enjoy throwback video games in the Retrocade.
