Nashville’s new pet-friendly destination raises the bar — or should we say bark — for a day out with the pups.

Urban Dog Bar, an indoor/outdoor dog park and neighborhood bar in the Nations, opens to the public on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 5700 Ohio Ave. Check out the grand opening schedule.

Fetch the following details

15,500-sqft outdoor park with artificial turf
5,000-sqft dog-friendly indoor area
Dedicated spaces for on-leash dogs, small dogs, and general play
Full bar with eight local beer taps, wine options, canned drinks, and mocktails — oh, and “dog beer”
Indoor and outdoor seating with televisions and free Wi-Fi
Trained “rufferees” onsite to supervise play and provide fresh water

The indoor space has air conditioning during the summer and heating in the winter. | Photo via Urban Dog Bar

The biz offers dog memberships (monthly and annual) + day passes ($12 for first dog, $6 for each additional dogs) available for purchase in-person or through Urban Dog Bar’s app. No dog, no problem — guests without a furry companion can just show up.
