Noogans need to know this: During the holidays, Cloudland at McLemore Resort transforms into a downright magical mountaintop retreat.

These experiences will have you ready to plan a festive day trip to Lookout Mountain — or a relaxing staycation:

Magical meals

Brunch with Santa offers a cozy, photo-friendly gathering, while the Christmas Day Brunch allows guests to relax with sweeping mountain views. Food for thought: The resort’s restaurants are open to the public for an elevated meal throughout the year.

Creative endeavors

Crafters and makers will love Cloudland’s holiday wreath-making and centerpiece workshops.

Cheerful traditions

Families can enjoy writing letters to Santa, decorating gingerbread houses, enjoying cookies with Santa, or simply taking in the décor.

An unforgettable NYE

Always wait until the last minute to make New Year’s Eve plans? Same. This year, you could plan ahead and celebrate in style at Cloudland’s black-tie celebration, featuring fine dining, live music, and a champagne countdown above the clouds.
