If you’ve driven by Sculpture Fields at Montague Park recently, you may have noticed some new additions to the park’s usual sculptures — hundreds of handmade Chinese lanterns, to be exact.

These bright new works of art are here for the SeaLight Festival, which will open to the public on Thursday, Feb. 20.

The festival will run Thursday through Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. until Sunday, April 20. There will be fun for all ages, including live entertainment every night from the Zigong Acrobatic Troupe — expect juggling, balancing, and even face-changing.

Don't skip a photo-op with the different lanterns. | Photo provided by SeaLight Festival
