Highland Park Porchfest, a music festival where "porches become stages, yards become seats, and radical generosity and good will rule the day,” will return on Saturday, Oct. 11.

In case you don't know, the Highland Park Porchfest is a grassroots, community-led event that had its inaugural festival in 2022, bringing free local music to the neighborhood.

This year will feature 17 bands that will perform across more than a dozen porches in the Highland Park neighborhood. The first performance will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the final act of the night will close at 11:05 p.m.

Thirteen of the 17 bands have never played Porchfest before. While you can see the full schedule online, we're highlighting some of the newbies.

Joshua Cruce | Folk
Snow Clone | Alternative rock
Sydnee Jo + Andrew Witherspoon | Unkown genre
