In case you missed it, the City of Chattanooga has launched a new community platform — Engage Chattanooga. The platform aims to provide more effective communication between city government + residents.

Today, we’re breaking down best practices for navigating the platform + how you can play an active role in shaping the future of Chattanooga.

Without having to sign in, you can click the “All projects” tabs for information on core projects the city is working on.

To be more involved, you can register through the platform to take surveys, see project timelines, and receive invitations for participation.

When registering, the information you share is up to you — you can also offer comments + complete some surveys anonymously.

Surveys and feedback portals will be added as they become available. Currently, folks can take these surveys:

Access Matters | Closing the gap in public health by understanding experiences + challenges with accessing health services and healthy food options.
Breaking the Chain to Secure a Safer Chattanooga | Gathering insight on local safety issues + how residents are impacted.

Bonus: The Engage Chattanooga newsletter (you’re subscribed when you register) will also include highlights on current surveys + upcoming events.
