Software subscriptions are an expense that doesn’t go away. As long as you rely on apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll have to pay for Microsoft 365. Or, that would be the case if there wasn’t a budget-friendly workaround.

If you’re tired of paying monthly for apps you use daily, replace that expensive subscription with a lifetime license. Microsoft Office 2021 has a full lifetime version available for Mac or Windows, and they’re both on sale.

What’s included with your license

Both versions of Microsoft Office come with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and OneNote. However, the Windows license also adds Publisher and Access.

If you’re used to Microsoft 365, you might notice that these apps are a slightly older version, but they can still get the job done. Excel was still Excel in 2021, and you can still find awesome document templates in Word, craft fun presentations in PowerPoint and charge through your daily to-do list with the rest of the apps that come in this bundle.

Keep in mind that this license is for one installation on one computer. That means as long as you have that same computer, you can keep using the whole productivity suite for as long as you’d like. Unlike Microsoft 365, which costs more every month, the value you get from a lifetime license increases every year.

Save more every year
