Just ~30 minutes from Greenville lies the opportunity for your team or organization to bond, recharge — and shoot skeet. Enter: Mill Pine, a 350+ acre retreat in Liberty, SC featuring indoor and outdoor amenities for business meetings, training, and opportunities to disconnect.

We joined our parent company, 6AM City, for a one-day retreat and training at Mill Pine.

What we tried:

Our team took part in a team performance training led by the AMPLOS team, including Drs. Milt Lowder and Drew Brannon. The training focused on traits of high-performing teams and the psychology behind what makes a great team.

Afterward, we enjoyed a catered meal from Table 301 and spent the day exploring the Mill Pine property and its amenities. Keep reading for details on the property, how we spent the rest of the afternoon, and how you can Try This.

What not to miss:

Don't miss the chance to explore the entire Mill Pine property. Hop in a UTV, behind the handlebars of a four-wheeler, or up a trail on foot.

Make your way up to the clearing at the top of the property for endless views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and learn to shoot skeet (or show off your skills).

What we’re still talking about:

How we felt when we left. Our team made our way back to Greenville feeling recharged and ready to hit the ground running. The inspiring message from the AMPLOS team of psychologists and performance coaches left our team feeling rejuvenated about the work we do — plus, the serene views were both relaxing and refreshing.
