Dear Hallmark,

We know it’s a busy time of year for you, so we’ll keep this brief. We’re writing to you today to let you know Greenville, SC is the perfect backdrop for your next Hallmark Christmas Movie.

We may be biased, but we think our city would be perfect year-round for any made-for-tv romance film. However, we’ve narrowed down our list to what makes it so special this time of year:

Our tree-lined Main Street with twinkling lights
Falls Park and its waterfalls in the middle of the city
A 30-ft tree with 25,550 lights in the city’s center
An outdoor ice skating rink that's a mini replica of Rockefeller Center
Cozy fireplaces inside and outside the festively decorated Grand Bohemian Lodge
Local gingerbread masterpieces on display
Santa's motorized sleigh — a converted 1993 Ford Aerostar — driving through the streets
Christmas markets filled with cozy glühwein + trinkets from local makers

For those reasons, many people already escape to our little city on the Reedy River to feel like they’re in one of your films — something major publications have made a note of:

“Each holiday season downtown Greenville, South Carolina transforms into a Hallmark movie.” — Forbes
“Greenville is another one of those towns reminiscent of a Hallmark movie…” — TODAY
“Want to feel like you're walking around on the set of a Hallmark Christmas movie? Then you'll want to head to Greenville, South Carolina.” — Country Living

Notice a trend? In conclusion, bring a Hallmark Christmas Movie production to Greenville, SC. You won’t have to budget for any set production because the beauty and romance is here 365 days a year.

Wishing you a happy holidays,

The GVLtoday Team
