Here at GVLtoday, we’re big planners. We plan our daily newsletter, Instagram posts, and — now that we’re going into the holidays — what we’re gifting to our friends + fam.

So when we first heard about Surcee, GVL’s very own virtual main street of local retailers, everyone in our GVL office got super excited and went into gift planning mode. Surcee provides an easy way for our team to plan + purchase gifts without leaving the home office. Plus, we’re all about supporting local, so it just feels good to buy from GVL retailers through Surcee.

Here are five of our GVLtoday team members’ favorite local gifts from Surcee. Get your bookmarks tab ready — you might just get inspired.

Keaton’s pick: Convertible clutch from Add Libb | $145

“My mother-in-law is obsessed with fun bags, so these cute handmade ones from Add Libb are right up her alley. She loves practical gifts that double as wearable art, so I can see her using this basically all the time.”

Grace’s pick: Lumineux x Methodical coffee chocolate bar | $7

“My best friend and I don’t normally do holiday gifts for each other, but Methodical is her favorite GVL coffee shop and I just feel like she has to try this. A fancy chocolate bar is the perfect lowkey gift — I might get one for myself, too.”
