If you've been scrolling on social media over the past few days, chances are you've seen people turning themselves into action figures, complete with accessories. It's a new trend using ChatGPT.

Here's how it works

Log into ChatGPT.
Fill out this prompt: Create a 3D action figure of me, displayed in clear plastic blister packaging like a collectible toy. The figure should look like me and wear [describe a signature outfit]. Include accessories that match my personality or job, like [for example — a coffee cup, headphones, laptop, or other tools of the trade]. Add bold white text at the top with [your name], and [insert title] underneath. Make it look realistic and stylized like an actual toy you'd see in stores.
Attach a photo of yourself and submit.
It will take a few minutes to generate, and you may need to adjust the prompt to make corrections.

Pro tip: If it says you’ve hit your limit, don’t worry — it resets every 24 hours.

GVLtoday's version

We had to try but make it Greenville. Here's the exact prompt we used to generate our City Editor action figures with unique Greenville accessories.

"Create a pair of 3D action figures based on the photo, displayed in clear plastic blister packaging like a collectible toy. In the background of the box, theme it as Greenville, SC. Include accessories like an iPhone, a small black digital camera, a green VIP lanyard on each doll, a fresh loaf of bread in a brown paper bag with “STECCA” on the bag, a small cast iron mouse, a jar with a yellow lid and label of “Duke’s” mayo, and any other accessories related to Greenville, SC. Add bold white text at the top with “City Editor Danielle + City Editor Stephanie,” and our company “GVLtoday” underneath. Make it look realistic and stylized like an actual toy you'd see in stores."
