If you’re like us, you had this popular movie on repeat growing up. Hint: It features a pup named Pooka.

Now, the new Broadway adaptation of “Anastasia” is making its regional debut at the Greenville Theatre on select evenings from Thursday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 22 (with Saturday and Sunday matinees).

Based on the 1997 animated film, this captivating show set during the Russian Revolution brings songs like “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December” to life.

Audiences will be transported to a world of mystery, adventure, and romance. They'll also meet an ex-aristocrat, a dashing conman, and the orphan Anya and see how the group solves the mystery of what happened to the Grand Dutchess Anastasia Romanov.

Bring the whole family to witness Anya’s journey to find home, love, and family this holiday season as she rediscovers who she was — once upon a December.
