Take a trip back in time for a moment. The year is 1902, and the textile industry in Greenville is thriving thanks to John T. Woodside and his Woodside Cotton Mill. The factory is enormous, and the surrounding neighborhood is an all-encompassing industrial community. History is being made. Today, the building still stands — and it’s now paying homage to its historical roots as a new living community that’s more than just a home: The Lofts at Woodside Mill.

Take a look inside over 100 years later, and uncover 5 distinctive features at The Lofts at Woodside Mill that may just make you want to call it home.

Prime location

Located at 1 East Main St., the apartment community is in walking distance to West Greenville and bikeable from downtown, giving residents access to the big 3 R’s: retail, restaurants + recreation. Whether it’s shopping at McBee Station, grabbing a bite from The Anchorage, or getting some fresh air on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a great weekend is never far away.

Historic revitalization

Working with the original characteristics of the building, floorplans for studios, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments feature large, historic windows; dramatic high ceilings; and exposed wood and brick — all balanced out with new granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Farmers markets, coffee shops, or breweries — whatever your scene may be, favorites can be found nearby. Think: Growler Haus, Bar Margaret, The Village Grind + more. There’s also an on-site restaurant — Woodside Bistro — and more on-site retail + restaurant developments are planned for the future.

Tailored amenities

Their community amenities include a 24-hour fitness center with a yoga and boxing room (hello, new hobbies), resort-style saltwater pool and pavilion, and outdoor entertainment and grilling area. There are also several co-working spaces with private offices and even a club room with a full kitchen just for entertaining friends + family.
