Getting together for an important cause. That's the goal of Compass of Carolina’s inaugural fundraiser, Hopefall Gathering, happening on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at The L (211 E Broad St.) from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Compass of Carolina works to champion the needs of those searching for stability, whether they are dealing with mental health issues, domestic violence, or experiencing difficulty accessing resources.

The luncheon will feature individuals and families that have turned to Compass and their stories of hope, many that are similar to the personal story of keynote speaker, former WYFF4 News Anchor Michael Cogdill, who will tell his story about surviving and recovering from childhood domestic violence.
