Even if you aren’t in the market for a house, it’s fun to think about finding your dream home. Especially if you’re the type who scrolls through Zillow and saves the cutest houses – you know, just to have options. At the 2019 Hartness Showcase of Homes (happening over three weekends in the next two months), you’ll be able to tour custom houses + imagine how you would design your own.

Plus, you’ll be able to get an inside look at the 2019 Inspiration Home (a.k.a. the I-Home) crafted by Milestone Custom Homes. It’s basically the crown jewel of all the homes you’ll see – packed with tech features and luxe upgrades in every room.

Hey, Alexa, tell us more about the Inspiration Home:

It’s sustainably built – using green materials + practices, from biological brick lime wash to open cell spray foam insulation that not only insulates but also improves home air quality + less dust, dander & allergens.
It also blends outdoor & indoor living space with a private courtyard + a folding door system connecting the indoor + outdoor spaces with an 18’ opening.
The I-Home is a full Kohler House. There’s a 18" rain head with 775 nozzles + a touchscreen interface in the master bathroom suite. Plus a steam shower and soaking tub. 🤤 (And top-notch features in the guest baths, too.)
The kitchen has details like scalloped Quartz backsplash + waterfall island edge, plus the most tech-forward appliances, while serving as a “non-kitcheny” focal point of the open living space.

If that doesn’t convince you to visit, maybe the cause will: 100% of proceeds from tickets ($10) go to A Child’s Haven, a local nonprofit that helps children with behavioral + developmental delays.

You can tour on your own schedule, too: The Showcase is happening April 25-28, May 2-5 + May 9-12 in the Hartness Community (103 Alester Sq., Greenville). More details + tickets here.

About the neighborhood: Hartness Community – created by the local Hartness Family – is a traditionally designed neighborhood of new homes in one of Greenville’s most pristine natural environments, where 40%+ of the neighborhood’s 450 acres are in a Trust and will never be developed. So, if you’re thinking about moving in, you’re getting good neighbors.
