Valentine’s Day brings love and sweet treats — but also hidden dangers for pets. Most pet parents know chocolate is toxic to dogs, but did you know certain flowers can also be dangerous?

Be sure to keep these blooms away from your furry friends:

Lilies | They're extremely toxic to cats, causing kidney failure — even from just licking their pollen.
Chrysanthemums + daisies | These flowers can cause vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, and skin irritation.
Baby’s Breath | This dainty flora can lead to GI upset, vomiting, and diarrhea in dogs and cats.
Daffodils + tulips | The bulbs are the most toxic and can cause seizures, tremors, and heart problems.
Roses | These aren't toxic, but the thorns can be dangerous if your pet steps on or swallows them.
