Taxes in Columbia

Last month, we asked where you get your taxes done so we could make the ultimate guide to doing your taxes – because, let’s face it – adulting can be confusing at times. With #TaxDay being *officially* 11 days away, we compiled a list of resources from our readers so you can get your taxes filed + (hopefully) a refund in your pocket before Spring Break.

Here’s what Soda Citizens recommend for tax services:

💵 Turbo Tax |📍Online

“I use Turbo Tax. When my tax guy retired, he recommended this. I was scared to do it, but it walks you through everything and was ultimately the best thing I’ve done. I do our taxes each year with Turbo Tax.” – Kathy R.

“I've used turbo tax for the past 6 years. As a single woman with no dependents, filing taxes is quite simple so I do it myself. It's an easy to follow website with really helpful guides if you get stuck.” – Allison K.

“Turbo Tax is my go to. It is easy to use and makes filing my taxes a breeze. It is free to file your Federal Taxes through their online services (if you don't itemize). The only downside is it does cost to file your state taxes through them, but the process is so easy I find the $30 completely worth it.” – Caroline E.

“Turbo Tax! I’ve used them every year- they are super helpful if you’ve got both freelance and regular income or if you have to file in multiple states.” – Helen D.
