**…the Gamecocks (near or far away).**

Gamecocks away, fans still gotta play. I’m on my last lap at UofSC, so I take all Gamecock events very seriously. I always have a ~game plan~ for football Saturdays – even if that doesn’t include Williams-Brice. Whether you’re looking for cheap drinks + rowdy fans, or great food with good company, Columbia has several perfect spots to watch away games.

Here are the places to be this Saturday (thanks to your recommendations):

🏉 Five Points

Publico | 1231 Greene St. | 11 a.m.-12 a.m. | $20 margarita + sangria pitchers, $3 beer of the day + a pineapple marg inside of in a pineapple

Salty Nut Cafe | 2000 Greene St. A | 11 a.m.-2 a.m. | always showing Carolina games inside + on the dog-friendly patio

Jake’s on Devine | 2112 Devine St. | 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; sometimes open earlier for noon or 3 p.m. games | check out their new outside bar + very large TV

Village Idiot | 2009 Devine St. | 11 a.m.-12 a.m. | $15 for 1-topping large pizza + Bud Light pitcher with $5 refills. Pro tip: Get there early if you want a table.

Cock N' Bull Pub | 326 S Edisto Ave. | 11 a.m.-11 p.m. | $7 Bud Light pitchers + 6 TVs

🏉 Main St.

Main St. Public House | 1556 Main St. | 11 a.m.-2 a.m. | they play the game on multiple TVs + over the speaker system so you never miss a play

🏉 Campus

Thirsty Fellow | 621 Gadsden St. | 11 a.m.-12 a.m. | $3 Budweiser drafts, 12 TVs inside + 3 on the patio

🏉 By the stadium

River Rat Brewery | 1231 Shop Rd. | 11 a.m.-10 p.m. | 16 specialty/seasonal beers on tap + 6 TVs (4 outside, 2 inside)

TLC Sports Bar & Grill | 936 S Stadium Rd. | 3 p.m.-2 a.m. | $4 house liquor, $2 fireball, $3 domestics + $2 Natty Light | Don’t have a ticket to a home game? TLC is the second best thing.

Even though Cola has so many different bar + restaurant options for Gamecock fans, I always find myself at Jake’s (pretending I have a dog) or at Village (eating way too much pizza). Wherever you choose to cheer on the team, you’re sure to find a fun crowd with great energy. After hearing your suggestions this week, I’m going to try something new – catch me at Publico with that pineapple margarita. 🍍

Cheers to a win,

–Jodi
