One of the busiest intersections in Columbia could look different in the future. The corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bull Street sees thousands of Soda Citizens every day and this ~1.6 acre lot between No Name Deli and the gas station is still on the market for $2.5 million.

The property at Bull Street and Elmwood Avenue | Photos provided

The property had 2 potential buyers and just last week the deal didn’t work out. This developer from the Upstate had plans to use the space to bring a multi-story housing development with retail space.

Since this deal fell through, the possibilities are endless for this section of town that already has a lot of development projects in the works (think The BullStreet District). Check out the zoning code here.

The property includes 6 addresses + buildings:

2022 Marion St.
2034 Marion St.
1408 Elmwood Ave.
1414 Elmwood Ave.
1420 Elmwood Ave.
2019 Bull St.

So, what’s next for the property? Take a look at this video to get the full view of what’s on the auction block. If it were up to you, what would you turn this property into?
