DYK? 80% of people move April-September. Most of those moves happen June-August – meaning it’s officially prime time moving season. And I can attest to this, since my husband and I just moved last week.

Through personal recommendations and a quick search on Soda City Connectors, we were able to find tons of highly recommended people + businesses for all your home needs. So here’s a guide you’ll want to have handy as you prep for your move – or if your house just needs a little TLC.

Whether you just need them to re-arrange furniture in your house or pack up the entire truck + move you to your new house, locally-owned + operated Soda City Movers has your back.

🚛Grace Movers, LLC | times + prices vary; call 803-638-9233 for quote

Their t-shirts say “lifting the burden off of you,” and that’s exactly what they do. These guys were only delivering previously purchased furniture to us when we moved, and they offered to help unpack our truck – completely done in under an hour. I barely lifted a finger, making them a true blessing to me.

🚛Gentlemen Movers | 2 hour minimum | prices start at $105 for 2 men + 1 truck

Gentlemen Movers will travel a 500 mile radius around Columbia, and ensures someone in the moving crew has at least 8 years experience in the biz – so your goods are safe + sound with them.

🚛Gamecock Moving | 2 hour minimum | $90/hour Monday-Thursday; $100/hour Friday-Sunday + $0.75-$1.50 per mile for travel

New to the Columbia scene, but not new to the moving biz. All three team members started with Greenville’s Tiger Moving, and now operate Gamecock Moving as a sister company – promising to treat your things like their own + exceed your expectations.

🚛Pro Help Movers | call 404-729-5866 for an estimate

Two UofSC grad + Columbia-natives, the guys of ProHelp Movers started with only a small pick-up truck while in college. Today, they were full-service company + no job is too big or too small.
