On Sat., June 5, 2021, American Airlines resumed nonstop service to Miami (MIA) from Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE). 🎉

In just shy of 2 hours, you can find yourself en route to South Beach, an authentic Cuban restaurant in Little Havana, the urban graffiti art museum Wynwood Walls — or just about anywhere else in the Magic City.

And you can arrive in style, too. For the first time, this flight from CAE will offer travelers the option of first-class seats. The new aircraft (an ERJ-175 for the #AvGeeks) includes 12 first-class seats as well as 70 cabin seats — 20 more than the previously-used aircraft.

So, why Miami? Here are 4 reasons to book your flight:

Beaches 🏖️

From South Beach to Miami Beach and beyond, there are 15+ beaches to choose from — ft. white sand and turquoise waters across 20 miles of the Atlantic coastline.

Cuban food 🤤

Think: Croquettas, tostones, arroz con pollo, and vaca frita. You won’t get much closer to authentic Cuban cuisine outside of Cuba.

Arts and culture scene 🎶

From international art fairs and touring Broadway shows to a 500,000-gallon aquarium and history museums, Miami is a world-class destination for arts and culture.

Boutique hotels 🏩

With rooftop restaurants and pools, inspiration from luxury yachts, breathtaking views, vintage vibes, over-the-top amenities + more — you name it, Miami’s boutique hotels have it.
