Summer is in full swing + we are definitely feelin’ the heat. Columbia’s heat index will be over 100º this weekend, but luckily for us, we have Lake Murray to cool off. And DYK it’s full of trivia?

Lake Murray by the numbers:

46 | Number of different species of fish 🐠

1927-1930 | Years the lake + dam were under construction

763 billion | Number of gallons of water in the lake

$2,190,000 | Price of the most expensive house on Miss Murray 💰

2.178 billion | Size of the lake in square feet

How many pairs of sunglasses lost in the lake? Your guess is as good as mine.

Remember to drink lots of water + wear sunscreen this weekend – whether you’re on the lake or at the riverwalk. Cola’s going to be borderline 🔥 dangerously hot🔥.
