10 mozz sticks you need in your life. 🧀

If you’re looking for a healthy email, keep scrolling. This ain’t one of ‘em.

But if you’re looking for where to Lady-and-the-Tramp a steaming plate of fried cheese sticks tonight, we got you.

Here are the 10 best mozzarella sticks in Columbia.* ⬇️ And let’s face it: Mozzarella sticks don’t photograph beautifully. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 😍

Nightcaps | ✔️ 50 votes | 📍 2722 Devine St. | 📸 Insta | ⏰ Hours

These were the overwhelming favorite. And if you’ve ever had/seen the size of them, you won’t be surprised.

Pro tip: Enjoyed best in the winter, paired with a White Russian, relaxing by the faux Christmas tree.

Dano’s | ✔️ 4 votes | 📍 2800 Rosewood Dr., Suite C | 📸 @danospizza | ⏰ Hours

A classic set of stix from Rosewood’s classic pizza joint.

Pro tip: Treat yo’ self and get these as an app when you hit up their <$5 two-slices-and-a-drink lunch combo.

Bar None | ✔️ 4 votes | 📍 620 Harden St. | 📸 Insta | ⏰ Hours

Tied with Dano’s for the #2 spot.

Pro tip: Pregame smoked wing night (every other Tuesday) with these babies.

Burger Tavern 77 | ✔️ 3 votes | 📍 2631 Devine St. | 📸 @btav77 | ⏰ Hours

The sticks for when you’re looking to spice things up. Courtney Thomas Melendez said it best on Facebook: “For a delicious spin, try Burger Tavern 77's. They're pepper jack with a tortilla crust. 🙃”

Pro tip: Level up and get one on top of your dang burger.

We’ll allow some honorary mentions to y’all’s favorite chain cheese: Arby’s (2 votes), Sonic (1 vote), Denny’s (1 vote) + Burger King (1 vote). Not gonna lie, these Sonic sticks look like a late-night dream.

Not mozz sticks, but deserve a mention in the fried cheese category: Michael’s fried cheese curds, Alodia’s graham-cracker crusted mozzarella balls, Villa Tronco’s baked mozzarella, and The Whig’s mythical, incredible-sounding fried paneer tikka masala special.

Have more suggestions in the fried cheese sector? Let us know. We’ll gladly take them.

Happy Friday, people.

Jay Mundo You should be in charge of making this list 😅

Charlotte Gantt: So glad this is becoming a reality!! 🧀😍

Rebecca Gardner: Yessss. I've been waiting on this! 😬😬

Michael D Blizzard: Jessica North knows all the answers.

Ashleigh Lancaster: I rarely go to Bar None without eating cheese sticks. Also? The Whig!! had a fried paneer basket with tikki masala sauce as a special and I've been stumping HARD for it to make a comeback. ITS THE BEST EVER!

Anna Williams: Great timing with this list, right as I decide to go gluten and dairy-free!!! Sorry, maybe I am hangry.

Samantha Kingsmore: Burgerking flammin' Dorito mozz stix

Sally Mobley: OTHER than Nightcaps , I will go for Bar None as a close second (but the corn dogs have my heart) and then....Sonic Drive-In comes in third 🤓 they are goooood and you can get an order of 2,4,6 or 8 sticks!

Andrew Johnson: I'm telling y'all, those tri-color-tortilla-battered ones at Burger Tavern 77 are on POINT

Laura Pate: THIS 👌👌👌👌👌

Naomi Sargent: Villa Tronco Italian Restaurant baked mozzarella. Okay, so they are technically triangles not sticks. But they are so worth bending the rules.

Kate Fox: I like how folks are trying to get local with this, but I am a true aficionado when it comes to cheese sticks. The best ones are from Denny's.
