Summer Light: Art by Night — a summer-long art exhibit at Brookgreen Gardens — begins next week. Stroll under twinkling lights in the gardens after dark and experience art in a bright new way. The exhibit will take place on Wednesdays + Saturdays from Wed., May 11-Sat., Aug. 13.

The exhibit includes nine lighting installations throughout the sculpture garden, featuring 800 upcycled chandeliers and 900 wine bottle alcoves. Check out the Oak Allee and Beyond the Garden Wall, Conway Glass display, and “blooming flora” in the Children’s Garden.

Live music will be performed each evening by various bands throughout the summer, with artists like City Lights, Greg Rowles, and Paul Grimshaw Band. There will be two food trucks to dig into every night, including options like Kona Ice shaved ice truck, Surf Dogs beachside grill, and EZ Cheezy grilled cheese truck. See the full music + food truck schedule here.
