Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and we want to make sure you're prepared to make your voice heard. Keep reading to make sure you know how and when to vote.

First things first, are you registered? If you don't remember your registration status or want to confirm it, use this site to check.

If you are registered, great. If not, no worries. You just need to be registered 30 days before Election Day. There are a few ways to get this completed:

Online — requires SC Driver's License or DMV ID
In-person — find your county office
By mail— complete this form and mail, fax, or email it to your county board of voter registration. Mail registration must be postmarked 30 days before Election Day.

Before Election Day arrives, find out your correct precinct and voting location. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Don't forget: there's an option for absentee voting. You can check out the requirements.
