While we wait for Crush Yard to open, here are a few fun facts about this popular pastime:

🥒 Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country and is a cross between tennis, ping pong, badminton, and wiffle ball.
🥒 It was invented in 1965 by Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum near Seattle, WA.
🥒 Joan Pritchard named pickleball after the rowing term “pickle boat," aka a crew made up of leftover rowers, because it throws together elements of different games.

Stay tuned for updates on the grand opening at 3365 S. Morgans Point Rd. We'll see you on the courts.
