Formerly known as Bike Month, Charleston Moves’ annual Mobility Month officially kicks off today. 🚲

The annual celebration is designed to help the residents learn how to navigate through the community using “complete streets” via bike, walk, or public transportation.

Their definition of complete streets is roads which are “designed to enable safe access for all users.” Starting today through May 31, the organization invites the public to participate in 13 events, such as Bike to Work Day + Batttery2Beach Ride, which are designed to highlight and fulfill the community’s requests for safe ways to travel.
