One of the most loveable things about Columbus is the distinct character found in each neighborhood, suburb, and corner of town. They all have their own personalities and purposes — some would say it was written in the stars. Let’s take a look at how our neighborhoods align with the zodiac signs.

Aquarius: Discovery District | Jan. 20-Feb. 18

The unique businesses of the Discovery District embody the eclectic nature of an Aquarius.

Creativity is booming in this neighborhood, including the next generation of artists, graphic designers, and multi-media specialists at Columbus College of Art and Design. Other clever Columbusites are at the Columbus Metropolitan Library stocking up on books for the winter season. Either way, they are supporting the philanthropic efforts of The Roosevelt Coffeehouse, a local roaster that supports many nonprofits.

Pisces: Downtown | Feb. 19-March 20

Downtown provides the perfect escapist moment for a Pisces to relax and fantasize.

Downtown isn't just businesses — there are plenty of ways to escape, like seeing one of the many upcoming shows at CAPA. For a more grounded experience, COSI can scratch a curiosity itch with expert scientific facts and activities.

Aries: Arena District | March 21-April 19

Known as the passionate and confident leader of the zodiac, an Aries would feel right at home in the Arena District.

Whether you are leading a chant at a Columbus Blue Jackets game, or attending championship parades for the Columbus Crew, the Arena District is your happy place. Things may get hectic around you thanks to all the events, nightlife, and nearby sporting events; but that's okay because you're leading your friend group with a perfectly planned agenda.

Taurus: Bexley | April 20-May 20

As a lover of lavishness, you’ll feel right at home in the Bexley.

Standing as one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Columbus, Bexley is no stranger to perfectly manicured front yards. The retro feel of the Drexel Theatre only adds to the picture-perfect scenes in this neighborhood.

Gemini: Victorian Village | May 21-June 20

The extroverted nature of a Gemini means they tend to be the life of the party with all kinds of people — similar to Victorian Village.

Whether it's ComFest in June, the Doo Dah Parade in July, or its close proximity to the Short North, this neighborhood is always busy. It's not easy being the life of the party — but the Victorian Village does it gracefully.

Cancer: German Village | June 21-July 22

The sentimental and gentle nature of this sign is the perfect match for German Village.

Spend your day looking for a local book at the German Village Book Loft (with a Stauf's coffee in-hand). And when the night strikes, old haunts like Beck Tavern can transport any city dweller back to their farm town roots.

Leo: Grandview | July 23-Aug. 22

Grandview is a perfect fit for the welcoming and proud nature that a Leo embodies.

Grandview is so proud of its community, they created a whole monthly festival to celebrate it. Grandview Hop is the perfect example of how this neighborhood is welcoming of what's to come, and proud of what it has already built.

Virgo: Linden | Aug. 23-Sept. 22

This earth sign has very practical and grounded qualities, making Linden a perfect fit.

This sign is known for always wanting to improve, and that's what Linden will do with its brand new, 50+ acre linear park. This is also where many cultures can come together for groceries at Saraga International Groceries.

Libra: Franklinton | Sept. 23-Oct. 22

Franklinton's active, yet small-town vibe is just as balanced as a Libra.

Whether you are starting your morning at Tommy's Diner, skating at Dodge Park, or finishing your evening at Land-Grant Brewing Co., this area is buzzing with excitement. Plus, don't miss out on Franklinton Fridays each month in the summer with local vendors offering vintage goods, handmade art, and more.

Scorpio: Upper Arlington | Oct. 23-Nov. 21

The aura of Upper Arlington's picturesque boulevard perfectly encapsulates this water sign.

With golden bears and colorful stars painted on the streets, there is no more deserving "picturesque boulevard" than Northwest Boulevard. This is where the annual Fourth of July parade occurs, and where the community competes for the best seats on the street.

Sagittarius: Worthington | Nov. 22-Dec. 21

As an adventure seeker, Worthington's connection to the outdoors offers plenty of fun.

Adventure comes in many sizes in this suburb, like zip-lining, hiking, and museums. And when the weather is too cold, take your fun to new heights with Vertical Adventures, an indoor climbing gym.

Capricorn: New Albany | Dec. 22- Jan. 19

With how hardworking you are, New Albany will suit you perfectly, as it's bubbling with development and potential.

From Intel to Microsoft to Google, New Albany is booming with tech development, construction, and business openings. There's plenty of work to be done here, with $30+ billion in tech investments in the last two years.
