Not all vacations need to be a getaway — especially if you live in Columbus.

If you ask SumUp, an online financial technology company, they'd recommend a staycation right in the Capital City. In fact, they ranked Columbus the No. 10 best city in the US for a budget-friendly staycation.

The study examined factors such as meal prices, entertainment expenses, cultural amenities, green space availability, and overall offerings of museums and theaters. Here are some interesting takeaways:

An "expensive" three-course-meal costs $70 on average, which is among the lowest of the top 10.
CBUS was ranked higher than San Francisco (12) and New York City (17).
Columbus is the only Ohio city in the top 25.
