If you’re making a list and checking it twice to find gifts for your loved ones this holiday season, we can help. Whether you want to make your own gift, find a fashionable item, or keep the Buckeye spirit alive, there are plenty of local options.

A DIY gift 🔨

We shared some holiday crafts to try this month, which would all make great gifts. But did you know Columbus also has a DIY craft bar with countless crafting options? Makers Social provides all the supplies and instructions you need to choose a craft from the project menu, which ranges from pet accessories to home decor to jewelry.

Pro tip: There’s a cocktail menu available, so you can grab a drink while you DIY.

A fashionable gift 🧢

In addition to shopping at local clothing boutiques like Jolie Occasions, Vamp, and THREAD, TENSPACE’s current exhibit also offers the chance to curate the perfect winter accessory for a loved one. The Love Your Melon experience is running through Friday, Dec. 23 and allows you to make your own beanie and choose the color + puffs to go on top.

Bonus: You'll be buying a beanie for a cause. Love Your Melon donates 50% of its net profits to nonprofit organizations that support fighting pediatric cancer.

A Buckeye gift 🌰

If you know someone who goes nuts for the Bucks, we suggest shopping at The Buckeye Corner. This ultimate OSU shop has five locations in Columbus, including at Easton and Polaris. Shop for yard flags, tailgating gear, clothing and accessories, picture frames, or tote bags for the biggest Buckeye fan you know.

Pro tip: If you’re feeling really generous, pitch in for a trip to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year's Eve.
