Potential Economic impact

According to Wake Forest University President Susan Wente, this project will encourage economic activities and help place Winston-Salem on the map as a leading tourism, sports, and entertainment destination.

The space will be open not only to students, but to visitors to experience what Winston-Salem has to offer on a whole new level.

What to expect

New retail space, restaurants, and residential buildings that will benefit residents, students, and visitors.

Important to know

WFU Stadiums and the LJVM Coliseum hosted over 450,000 attendees for Demon Deacon athletics events.
Both have attracted major performers like Paul McCartney in 2022 and Billy Strings in 2023, and also hosts international tennis stars for the Winston-Salem Open.
