Have you ever walked into a home that's spacious, has plenty of amenities, and great curb appeal, but it's just missing something? Same here. Whether that something is a lack of traditional features that enhance a home-like atmosphere, or that intuitive feeling telling you when a space isn't for you — we've all been there. That's why we were excited to find this eclectic, welcoming single family home that sprawls across 10,399 sqft and 2.8 acres at 2441 W. Lake Dr. in Raleigh's Woodrow Park neighborhood for Mansion Monday.

Equipped with a total of 20 rooms, including five bedrooms and six bathrooms (four full and two powder rooms), this property provides plenty of space + opportunity to create a home. Plus, it gets even better. This homey haven is maximized with a den, two eating areas including a formal + informal space, a library, a great room, and a living room.

If you're into luxury features, it isn't lacking in that department either. Amenities and features found at the abode include a sizable pool, five gas fireplaces, and a spirited backyard filled with Magnolia trees and lavender plants. Think: Put the nearly three acres to use for entertaining, gardening, and relaxing. Plus, the backyard is adjacent to Joselin Garden.

Looking for more sparkle? Opulence can be found in the details of the chandeliers in main rooms, a grand staircase, hardwood floors, and customized grand molding throughout.

We don't know about you, but the $6,950,000 price tag might not look that bad, especially considering it's recent price drops. The property initially went on the market last year for $8.6 million. Since then, it has continuously decreased every few months. This place may definitely be something to keep an eye on.
