Although we're still disappointed about the Panthers' heartbreaking playoff loss, it's time to get excited for Super Bowl 60. Whether you're cheering for the Seattle Seahawks, the New England Patriots, or just hope both teams have fun, the big game is best enjoyed in a lively atmosphere.

Here are five spots around Charlotte hosting watch parties:

Angry Ale's
The Montford bar is showing Charlotte pride with its Drake Drink, named after Patriots and former Myers Park quarterback Drake Maye. There are other special menu items, too, including a 24-inch Philly cheesesteak.

Sweet Lew’s BBQ
Good vibes and good food await. It's free to reserve your spot to make the most of $5 drink specials and $15 barbecue snack platters — because football is better with wings.

Platform Sports
Don't let the 2,200+ miles between here and Santa Clara stop you from tailgating. You can look forward to classic tailgate games, a photo booth, food + drink specials, and merch before kick-off.

Blinders Sports Lounge
The South End spot is offering a half-off specialty food menu, plus drink specials and a live DJ for the game. Doors open at 1 p.m., giving you ample time to find a spot in front of the 60-ft screen.

Midtown Tavern
If you want a guaranteed seat, reserve a spot. General admission is free, and the bar is slinging gameday specials.
