Hollywood was once considered the premier destination for filmmaking, but Charlotte is quietly building an impressive resume of its own.

This spring, the Queen City will be the backdrop for the scripted drama series "The Hunting Wives," adapted from the 2021 best-selling novel by May Cobb. The eight-episode series will follow Sophie, who moves from the East Coast to deep Texas where she meets socialite Margo Banks. The story descends into obsession, seduction, and murder.
