Going natural

Freedom Park
One of Charlotte's most popular parks offers trees, fountains, and ample green space perfect for like engagements and graduation pics.

The Little Sugar Creek Greenway
Feel miles away from the city when stepping onto the greenway — especially the Huntingtowne Farm Park segment from Tyvola Road to I-485.

Editor's note: Nature lovers can commonly spot deer and water birds near the creek early in the morning.

Wing Haven
Be surrounded by greenery in this enclosed-brick garden and bird sanctuary perfect for nature enthusiasts and influencers.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
This pristine location provides 380 acres of rolling meadows, woodlands, and lakefront — perfect to spend a day exploring or hosting a wedding.

Since Charlotte is such a gorgeous city, I know I must have missed a few spots.
