With fall in full swing, and leaves of every color covering the mountains, this is our favorite time of year to find a scenic overlook and soak up the beauty of the season.

And if we lived in one of these seven stunning mountain homes?

That’d be as easy as stepping onto the porch — or looking out the window. These stylish Asheville-area abodes include:

This contemporary new-construction retreat, tucked among the treetops in Montreat.
A log-and-stone cabin sitting on 56 private acres.
This lakeside escape with open-water views from nearly every room.
A custom Black Mountain home with wraparound views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Take a virtual peek inside, or talk to the local team a GreyBeard Realty to schedule an in-person tour for the full effect.
