About the festival's organizers

Hola Asheville is hosted by Hola Carolina, a grassroots organization with a mission to "build bridges between cultures, embrace diversity, and create more economically vibrant communities." The Asheville-based nonprofit is operated by and for the Latinx community.

But Hola Carolina's impact reaches far beyond the festival. The group is one of the region's largest distributors of Spanish news, serving the WNC community with nearly 6,000 articles published. In addition, the nonprofit supports the Latinx community with a plethora of programs, like the Hola Community Food Bank, VAMOS Carolina transportation services, and the Latino Economic Empowerment Program.
