Take a look at your calendar. 🗓️ We’re betting you have some sort of event coming up in the next few months, whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, work luncheon, conference, fundraiser or office holiday party (hey, December is not that far away). Or who knows, maybe you’re being presented with a lifetime achievement award for being so awesome. All of these events have something in common: someone has to plan + host them.

A major hurdle when planning an event is securing a venue that has everything you need. There are plenty of options in our area (like the ones in our guide to AVL wedding venues), but maybe you’re looking for something specific: downtown, intimate space, (good) food included.

Enter: Isa’s Bistro inside Haywood Park Hotel & Atrium, Hemingway’s Cuba inside Cambria Hotel. They’re each in the heart of downtown and offer unique features for hosting your next event (or suggesting to your friend where she should host your birthday party).

The Cellar at Isa’s Bistro features:

Bright, modern event space inside a wine cellar
Recently renovated main dining room (just completed in August 2019
Open lounge area with a fireplace
Private space with separate entrance (perfect for small meetings or private dinners)
Customizable menu by Isa’s Bistro

Hemingway’s Cuba/Cambria Hotel features:

8,000+ sqft. of meeting space
Event space that opens to the open-air Fourth Floor Terrace with these gorgeous views of downtown + the Blue Ridge mountains
Catering from Hemingway’s Cuba + custom menu packages
Bar service for craft beer, cocktails + wine
Free Wi-Fi + wired internet access
Full-service audio/visual available for conference presentation needs
A given: Your guests just have to ride the elevator to get to where they’re staying. (We had our 6AM holiday retreat/party at the Cambria + Hemingway’s, and it was perfect.)
