In 431 days, the world's biggest sporting tournament will arrive in Kansas City. Exactly how the 2026 FIFA World Cup will look in KC just got a little clearer.

Missouri's own Jadie Arnett created the design, beating out 100+ other entrants to claim the honor — and the $10,000 cash prize.

Why did Arnett choose a scarf as the main focal point of the poster? “Missouri and Kansas are woven together in Kansas City just like the knitting of a scarf," she said. "As a region, we are one team.”

Aside from the soccer action depicted, you'll also notice various KC landmarks and shout outs, including Union Station, the Western Auto Building, a trumpet to represent our city's jazz music lore, and an airplane to give some love to our aviation history.

The longer you look at the full design, the more elements you see. And the closer we get to kick-off.
