City Editor Krit here. ICYMI, I recently brewed up the zodiac signs as Kansas City coffee shops. Now, get those cocktail glasses ready as I serve my concoction of the zodiac signs as Kansas City bars.

Aries: Tom's Town Distilling Co. | March 21-April 19

Located in the heart of the city, you’re unafraid to let your presence be known. Its slogan, “The people are thirsty,” was Tom Pendergast’s reason for ignoring Prohibition laws, which is fitting for the sign known to break the rules.

Taurus: The Monarch Bar | April 20-May 20

The Monarch Bar embodies your love for grandeur. Plush velvet seating + the stunning Monarch butterfly chandelier are just some of the refined details that will please the sign ruled by Venus, the planet of love, luxury, and value.

Gemini: Prime Social | May 21-June 20

It’s in the name. Gemini’s love being social, and this spot allows you to do exactly that with both indoor + outdoor rooftop seating. With three different cocktail groups — light & fruity, bold & spiritous, bright & balanced — you’ll be able to quench your adventurous side by trying something new with every visit.

Cancer: The Ship | June 21-July 22

Cancer’s are known for being sentimental + emotional, and The Ship’s rich history will tug at your heartstrings. The spot opened in 1935 after the repeal of Prohibition, and you can still experience its quaint vibe today. As a homebody, you’ll be able to get away from the crowd at the intimate original Ship bar.

Leo: Percheron Rooftop Bar | July 23-Aug. 22

Leo’s love being the center of attention, and you’ll be able to get all the double-taps with pictures of you at this spot. Ruled by the sun, you’ll be pleased to know you can catch some rays + channel your confident glow at this rooftop bar.

Virgo: The Mercury Room | Aug. 23-Sept. 22

The Mercury Room meets your high standards with its attention to detail from the moment you walk in. Plus, it’s only fitting to assign this spot to you considering your sign is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication.

Libra: J. Rieger & Co. | Sept. 23-Oct. 22
