Next Monday is Labor Day, a federal holiday + the honorary “end of summer.” If you’re the kind of person that vacuum-packs their fall wardrobe in May, then it’s also the most important day of the year.

All sorts of fashion rules kick in on Sept. 6 — most famously, no wearing white. Catch us rocking our winter whites all season, but we’ll take any excuse to pick up some outerwear, thrift a new pair of shoes, and even touch up our existing threads. Let us be your local fashion guides.
