There's a new major player for the Red Sox who will really switch up the game in Boston. Cue the walk-up music for MassMutual — the new signature sponsor for the MLB team.

The Sox and MassMutual are going for extra innings with the announcement of the 10-year partnership.

What does this play include? The insurance company will have its logo placed over the center field scoreboard, special signage behind home plate + additional messaging throughout Fenway Park.

For the first time in the franchise's history, the Red Sox jersey will feature a sponsorship patch on the the sleeve.

The partnership will also expand the Fenway Park Learning Lab in April 2023 to reach all sixth-grade students in Boston Public Schools. The program brings students to the historic ballpark for an immersive classroom experience.

We will keep an eye out for more changes ahead of the season opener on March 30, 2023.
