This Saturday is National Cinema Day and to celebrate we're sharing where you can find $3 movies around the greater Boston area.

Who's behind the scenes of this?
That would be The Cinema Foundation, aka the non-profit portion of the National Association of Theater Owners. They work to support theaters and have teamed up with major chains (like AMC and Regal Cinemas) to offer a nationwide discount at more than 3,000 theaters including 20+ locations in Boston.

Organizers of the event are considering making this a more annual feature. Would you head to a local theater for a cheap movie day in Boston? Let us know.
