The Solheim Cup is coming to Louisville's Valhalla Golf Club in 2028. The biennial — that's every two years — has been held since 1990, and pits teams representing America + Europe against one another, in a match-play competition. Think: It's similar to the Ryder Cup.

The 2028 Solheim Cup will be the first major women’s golf competition held at Valhalla. The 38-year old club has hosted several high profile men's events, including:

The PGA Championship in 1996, 2000, 2014, and 2024
The Senior PGA Championship in 2004 + 2011
The Ryder Cup in 2008.

Fun fact: Valhalla will become one of just four venues worldwide to host both the Ryder Cup + Solheim Cup.

Tickets for the 2028 edition are not yet on sale, but you can sign up for the waitlist. For the 2024 Solheim Cup — being held Sept. 10 through Sept. 15 in Gainesville, VA — general admission tickets start at $101.
