It might be the hottest week of the year in Louisville, but that hasn't stopped Derby City's denizens from dreaming of cooler, crisper weather.

Today, we're falling in love with three on-the-market houses for their autumnal vibes.

🍁Cabin in the woods | $426,900

Picture this: You're wrapped in a blanket, holding a warm cup of coffee, sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch of a log cabin in the woods, watching the amber autumn leaves glide groundward from the trees surrounding you.

That dream is a reality at this four-bed, three-bath log cabin in southeastern Jefferson County. The 2,600-sqft home is nestled on one acre of wooded land — and there's even a stone fireplace inside.

🍁Gather 'round the fireplace | $795,000

Speaking of stone fireplaces... This mid-century modern ranch home in the Greenleaves neighborhood features a double-sided stone fireplace surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the surrounding greenery — your friends + family will be begging to visit when the fall foliage hits its peak.

The only downside: You'll probably have to host Thanksgiving for the rest of your life.

🍁Ghoulish Victorian | $450,000

With a creepy-crawly vine climbing up the front of this brick Old Louisville Victorian + a gas lamp directly in front of the home, this house has us spinning webs about how we would decorate it for Halloween. Imagine the looks on the trick-or-treaters' faces.

With crystal chandeliers, hardwood floors, and embossed wall coverings, this five-bed, three-bath mansion is frightfully ornate, in the best way possible.

Bonus: Not ready for those fall vibes quite yet? We've got you. This brat summer home in West Buechel is completely on trend for 2024.
