City Editor Sarah here. If you know me, you know there’s two things I hold close to my heart — coffee + astrology. So, grab a cup and settle down to enjoy the brew of the zodiac signs as LOU coffee shops.

♈ Aries: Red Hot Roasters | March 21-April 19

Known as the bold + courageous leaders of the zodiac, you emulate Red Hot Roasters’ drive and passion when it comes to getting what you want. Plus, the bright colors from its logo and its drive-thru allude to the fiery personality — and always-on-the-go spirit — of this fire sign.

♉ Taurus: Gralehaus | April 20-May 20

As a luxury lover, you’ll feel right at home at Gralehaus’ beautiful + aesthetically pleasing cafe. After all, nothing screams opulence like sipping iced coffee from a bell-shaped glass with a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sammie.

♊ Gemini: Wiltshire Pantry | May 21-June 20

Your extroverted nature suggests you tend to get along with different types of people. From coffee to lunch options, Wiltshire Pantry has something on the menu to cater to everyone.

♋ Cancer: Bean | June 21-July 22

The sentimental + emotional nature of your sign is the perfect match for Bean. Pair your classic latte with a baked good for all the homey vibes.

♌ Leo: Brew & Sip Coffee Bar | July 23-Aug. 22

Brew & Sip is a perfect fit for the warm, loving nature you possess. You are also not afraid to let your presence be known, similar to the shop’s giant mural inside its new West Broadway location.

♍ Virgo: Fante’s Coffee House | Aug. 23-Sept. 22

The botanical cafe sums up your practical + grounded qualities. As an earth sign, it sure doesn’t hurt to nurture your roots with the company of a plant or two while working at one of its cozy indoor seating spots.

♎ Libra: Sunergos Coffee | Sept. 23-Oct. 22

With locations both in the St. Joseph’s neighborhood + downtown, Sunergos is as balanced as you are. You love being charmed, and its coffee will do just that with its specialty roaster + clean, minimalist furniture.

♏ Scorpio: Please & Thank You | Oct. 23-Nov. 21

The black, brick-lined coffee house nestled in the heart of NuLu alludes to the dark and discreet qualities you possess. The Harvest Moon Latte, paired with this cropped muscle tank, sums up your mysterious aura.

♐ Sagittarius: Full Stop Station | Nov. 22-Dec. 21

As an adventure seeker, you’ll be delighted to visit this gas station-turned convenience store in Germantown. Your need for constant change and adventure will be fed with its inventive seasonal menu additions — like the Flower-Ade iced chamomile tea with rosemary + grapefruit juice.

♑ Capricorn: Quills Coffee | Dec. 22-Jan. 19

With breakfast options, you can’t go wrong with this practical spot. With how hardworking you are, you’ll be pleased to hear this spot has pretty fast Wi-Fi.

♒ Aquarius: Old Louisville Coffee Co-Op | Jan. 20-Feb. 18

The old-world Victorian building paired with a community-oriented vibe encapsulates the eclectic personality you possess. Differ from the normal coffee order and get a Spice Soda — with honey, turmeric + black pepper — to match your free spirit.

♓ Pisces: Day’s Espresso & Coffee | Feb. 19-March 20

Being an introvert, you need a quaint spot to recharge your social battery. This art-filled cafe provides the perfect escapist moment for you to relax with a cup of coffee.
