It's not often you get to help your city plant its flag, but now's your chance, LOU.

The Louisville Metro Government is looking for feedback on where new signage could be placed around the city. The potential signage includes:

An archway, standing 24-ft tall, which reads, “LOUISVILLE, EST 1778"
Primary + gateway signs, which which could occupy street corners
Trailblazer signs, which would point out nearby landmarks + attractions
Marker signs — they’re like Trailblazer signs, just in a slightly different style

Wondering how you can sign up to offer the feedback? Fill out a form with your ideas for where these signs should go and which landmarks should be highlighted.

Here are a couple of our ideas:

An archway at the foot of the 2nd Street Bridge — to make it less obvious that we're crying down there
A MarkerTrailblazer is capitalized in the final bullet above, I'd say either capitalize both or don't sign pointing out Clifton's Chicken Steps
