Between Friday night + Saturday morning, severe storms devastated Western Kentucky. Multiple tornadoes were reported — with the most destructive touching ground for a stretch of ~220 miles.

19 counties in the western part of our state felt the effects of this weekend’s storms. The damage was so extensive that Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency. While many of the people injured in the storm were transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the University of Louisville Hospital + Norton Children's Hospital lent a hand in treating multiple patients in the aftermath of the storms as well.

In that spirit, we wanted to let you know how you can help too. We’re listing off five different ways you can donate + help out your fellow Kentuckians affected by this weekend’s storms.
