When you talk to Lexingtonian Dr. Kinga Mnich about her work — she's a social-psychologist, executive coach, public speaker, and founder of Ziva Voices — you can feel the buzz of energy and excitement. Connecting and empowering women is just her thing.

"We really highlight the true version of what it means to be a woman and to create equality between women," she said. "And that's the reason why everything that we are doing is really multicultural. That's important to me for people to know that."

That we is Ziva Voices — HerStory in the Making, a "bookazine" + movement that aims to amplify, support, and connect women all over the world. And while the project started off as a quarterly online magazine, it has since grown into an empowerment movement with workshops + in-person events.

"We are really celebrating the differences by showcasing how similar we are, and how we need the differences in order to create solutions for the problems that we, all together as women, are facing" said Mnich.
