Potholes are a fact of life on Lexington streets. Some catch drivers off guard, others are nearly impossible to miss — and they all have the potential to ruin a smooth ride.

Here’s a guide to reporting potholes in Lexington, whether in your neighborhood or while out and about.

The City of Lexington's Streets & Roads division is responsible for maintenance and repairing potholes only on city-maintained roads. This excludes state, private and/or roads under development, according to the city's guidelines.

Not sure what type of road is affected? Check out the city's street information map.
